A propósito de La lírica del crápula

La Lírica del crápula, Editorial Setra, 2009, Primera Ed. Es un libro que consta de 33 poemas habitados por simbólicas mujeres que miran y hacen guiños al lector que se arriesgue a escuchar y observar atentamente las claves de la potente palabra de Eduard Reboll, poeta catalán radicado en la ciudad de Coral Gables, Florida.

El escritor hace uso de diversas figuras retóricas tanto de los significantes como de lo significado o si se prefiere del pensamiento y la dicción. La lírica del crápula pudiera ser biografía o ficción; en todo caso, su valor estético y la visión de mundo que sustenta es lo que intenta destacarse en estas líneas.

Como su título mismo hace inferir, La Lírica del crápula es una apología a lo patético. En efecto, lo patético suscita emociones que a simple vista parecieran repulsivas, pero que cuando se desenmascaran muestran la ternura y solidaridad por la mujer que posee el don de la ubicuidad. La ubicuidad de sentirlo todo y estar en diferentes partes y en ninguna a la vez, de tener rostros diversos. Mujer y hombre que sufren la aventura de reconocerse como cuerpos separados y diferentes.

La hipérbole, uno de los muchos recursos estilísticos que utiliza el poeta y con el cual exagera o disminuye lo significados, puede observarse en varios versos, por ejemplo en el poema Mujer y sentimiento oscuro:

Llevabas una falda con bordes celestiales
y abrazándote el cuello, un sol blanco
en mis lágrimas reflejaba
la emoción de un guerrero iniciándose

Reboll emplea símiles o comparaciones para expresar de manera explícita semejanzas entre ideas o significados dispares, para ello se vale del vocablo "como”.

Mujer y sentimiento oscuro

Hermosa, como la lana cortada,
el ventilador te hacía más libre.

O en el poema

Mujer adormecida en el río de un póster

Albura como el pan del sur.
De pie ancho como un árbol
Delgada de pecho como su vida

En la lírica del crápula el escritor acude a la sinestesia para describir las experiencias sensoriales. Asimismo, condensa referentes contradictorios o contrapone ideas disímiles tal como objetos callejeros con consagrados referentes culturales, dicha oposición permite darle mayor énfasis al mensaje subyacente : las relaciones de parejas son efímeras, cosificadas. Mensaje que se encuentra patente en: Mujer adormecida en el río de un póster, y en el poema: Mujer italiana y escuela de artes y oficios

bajo mi mano, el estuco y una alfombra
recién recuperada de la calle.
Así como sus lienzos,
la fui dejando morir por los lados
de la tela, como un Rothko¹extenuado
por la luz amarilla de una tarde.

Goyesca, refinada... virgen!

Acariciabas el lápiz y la perspectiva

como las sanguinas de Leonardo.

La prosopopeya o personificación, con la cual el poeta atribuye cualidades humanas y corpóreas tanto a lo que le rodea como a los sentimientos , hace de La lírica del crápula un universo cambiante donde se mezclan lo instintivo con lo urbano, y capitalino:

Así hablaba la Culpa después de la quinta ginebra,
bajo los arcos de aquella bodega
lívida, donde la música de
Liverpool y el blues, leían a nuestras espaldas
el estreno de un romance de lobos.

El escritor desmonta el significado original de las palabras e ideas, las hace contrastantes para darle un giro poético inesperado; así por ejemplo, en el muy logrado poema: Mujer de El Albaicín, el verbo “acurrucar” que remite a resguardarse del frío, se contrapone a lo inerte o falto de vida de un ojo que probablemente no mira pero si ve. Este juego óptico en perspectivas infinitas hace recordar al cuadro de las Meninas, en el que Velásquez se representa a sí mismo pero, es el espectador que es observado y, quizás ni siquiera eso porque su visión se dirige a un punto indeterminado fuera del cuadro. De igual manera, en los textos de La lírica del crápula el hablante del texto se dirige a un lector impreciso y para ello recurre a la primera persona de suerte que el espectador también participe del juego de miradas y de este fugaz torbellino de lastimosa concupiscencia. La repetición de palabras se emplea para acentuar musicalidad y reforzar los significados, tal como se puede apreciar en el mismo poema Mujer de El Albaicín:

acurruca mi marido su ojo muerto
para ver, si aún, sigo satisfecha. A veces, si se lo pido, me muerde
labio a labio. Ven. No me importa

El dolor y sufrimiento femenino es una justificación para reflexionar desde la posición del sujeto al que se alude. Simultáneamente estos sentimientos son los latigazos de un verdugo que se complace en torturarse a si mismo; sádica identidad que simula una nacionalidad, en el caso del poema que nos ocupa, española, específicamente de Granada, lugar en el que las mujeres desde la época isabelina han sido las abusadas por excelencia. Las granadinas han sido consideradas las guardianes del hogar, seres etéreos, abnegados, pacientes sufridoras, depositarias, de secretos y honras.

En Mujer de El Albaicín , el dolor de la granadina aparentemente se disuelve, se anestesia y neutraliza al reconocerse ese urgido y húmedo mapa de su cuerpo. El hablante acude a la repetición, la sinestesia, la puntuación sugerente, para desembocar paradójicamente en una invitación al silencio.

mostrarte donde me lastima: soy
del suelo de Granada. Anda...
Ven. Mójate un poco. Delante mío:
Águame en blanco mi pecho blanco.
Anda...Ven en silencio”.

La identidad española es aparente, es otra de las muchas caretas de esta galería de féminas: Granada fue declarada patrimonio de la humanidad en 1984. Por otra parte, si se toma en cuenta otras implicaciones de la historia judeo cristianas se cae en cuenta que la escogencia de este toponímico no es nada inocente en el texto. El nombre Granada tiene un origen controversial, para algunos estudiosos procede del árabe y significa Gar-anat, “Colina de peregrinos”, por lo que se puede inferir que la fémina de El Albaicín, tal como las otras 32 congéneres presentes en La lírica del crápula, son apátridas peregrinas; libidinosas mujeres arquetípicas, quienes con este insaciable Sátiro, poseedor también de diferentes máscaras, recorren metafóricos territorios para ahogar en el sexo el insoportable tedio de existir.

XXIV del Festival Internacional de Teatro Hispano de Miami

El teatro latinoamericano en Estados Unidos cuenta con una tradición que se remonta a la colonia; jugó un importantísimo papel en las luchas reivindicativas de los trabajadores del campo en la década de los sesenta. No obstante, poco ha sido tomado en cuenta por los catedráticos y los medios de comunicación.

Afortunadamente, quijotescas personalidades contra molinos de viento: tenacidad y buena voluntad, han realizado diferentes eventos para que no pase totalmente desapercibido y continúe el espectáculo. En tal sentido, los organizadores del Festival Internacional de Teatro Hispano de Miami han contribuido a cultivar este antiquísimo pero siempre renovado arte.

Este año se conmemora a Colombia, país representado por Los Ojos del Hermano Eterno y con su montaje: "Cartas de una desconocida", basada en la novela de Stefan Zweig. ( El mismo extraordinario escritor de Maria Antonieta y Fuche’ ).

El director y fundador del festival es el señor Mario Ernesto Sánchez quien junto a su joven y hermosa hija Verónica ambos se han dedicado por años a organizar el evento. En esta oportunidad el premio fue asignado a: "Una Vida de Dedicación a las Artes" para el dramaturgo Santiago García, fundador y director del Teatro La Candelaria de Bogotá.

Pero además de Colombia otros países latinoamericanos participaran del evento que durará tres semanas: las compañías teatrales son de: España, México y Estados Unidos.

De Estados Unidos se presentará una compañía de los Ángeles. De Miami participaran: El grupo estudiantil del Miami Dade College y Teatro Avante.

Abundan las obras de corte vanguardista y contemporáneo. La pieza clásica de este evento será "Bodas de sangre", de Federico García Lorca, bajo la dirección de Antonio Saura.

La cultura latinoamericana en Estados Unidos, a pesar de existir antes de la anglosajona, cuenta con exiguos apoyos privados o gubernamentales. Es nuestro patrimonio y hay que apoyar las iniciativas de quienes por tantos años han superado enormes barreras para lograr un espacio oxigenado para nuestra herencia y bienes espirituales.

Okay, okay algunos amigos se quejaron de no poder leer bien el texto… y me reclamaron por lo de las mayúsculas sostenidas…. ¡Joroba! Mayúscula es la torta cuando uno se pone de bloggera sin saber como es la hierba y los yuyos tecnológicos. Pero yo me aviento igual.. Lo que vieron y leyeron ayer era una prueba y ahora creo que está como las reglas obligan...

Somos muchos y de varias partes del planeta, pero en la foto estamos unos pocos…

El chico que está a la derecha hablando por el celular , quien lleva una bufanda como un sacerdote cuando va a oficiar la comunión es Eduard Reboll, ojo por favor no decirle que es español porque es catalán. Acaba de publicar “La lírica del crápula” , Ediciones Setra 2009. (Este libro que espero tener pronto otra vez, se encuentra en Books and Books, mi poemarios se lo obsequie a una amiga ). Son poemas cortos pero punzo penetrantes.
La chica que está al lado de nuestro poeta Eduard es Gloria MiladelaRoca, (que es asi como se llama) es pintora. Su tendencia es abstracta; utiliza grades trazos y enormes formatos, ella es de Veny-veni como yo y recientemente expuso en el Museo de las Américas de Doral-zuela.

Luego, a la izquierda, vestida con una blusa marrón y bufanda azul (the fashion color combination) se puede identificar a la cubana Lidia Caraballo, el duende que vuela, quien con su cara de yonofui engaña porque es una escritora de preciosos Haikus y tiene montado sobre los hombros un cerebro maquiavélico. Es la cabezilla de la Revista Nagari. Machaca tanto con eso de publicar la revista que a todos nos tiene pujando tintas y erutando grapas.
Aún no contamos con suficiente financiamiento para la impresión pero estamos pidiendo la donación de Amaros, pesos suecos,euros africanos, libra esterlina haitiana o cualquiera denominación monetaria que no esté tan devaluada como el bolívar venezolano o como el dólar en Wall Street. Aunque , este último, a paesar de las predicciones estrepitosas de caidas y otros accidentes en la bolsa, lo aceptamos también.

Al lado de Lidia, está el señor Jonathan Rose, que según me contó una pajarita es” abogado, poeta y promotor cultural (pareciera contar con uno o varios dobles porque aparece en más de un evento a la vez)”.

También estoy yo con unos lentes blancos de marciana pero no de Marte, sino de Plutón porque son para ver de lejos. Podrán ver mejor mis nuevas gafas en la foto que copio abajo.

A mi lado, la peruana Maria Espinosa, quien es una larga y estilizada espiga, pero sobre todo es casi Doctora; no, no del corazón, ni de nuestras albóndigas sino de Literatura latinoamericana, Maria está haciendo su tesis en indigenismo si el Alzahaimer no me delata, creo que sobre Arguedas. Luego, al final de la fotitito, con una cara redonda y sonriente con ojitos brillantes e inquisidores veran a BB quien de bebé no tiene nada sino la cara porque es tremenda artista plástico y explora muchas y variadas técnicas.

Por ciento que recientemente uno de sus libros de artistas se fue junto con el mío a la galería De Autor en Madrid. BB son las siglas de Beatriz Caraballo a quien también llamamos Betina es cubanicola.

Alejandro expone en la feria de Arteamericas 2009 una escultura inflable que sin lugar a dudas remite a una representación fálica. La pieza (la estética) de Alejandro se encuentra en la entrada del Convention Center.

Detrás de la cámara, y por razones obvias, está el venezolano Gerardo Serra quien es escritor free lance de varias publicaciones de California y Oklahoma.

Faltan muchas otras personas queridas , entre otras: Alejandra Ferraza, argentina, es la chica ye(s)-ye(s), go-go, Este apodo no se debe a la apariencias de sixties de su larga y dorada cabellera sino más bien al hecho de que es una mujer muy positiva y siempre esta movimiento hacia adelante. La cubana y muy chama, Noeldy López (La Guagua, no porque utilice este medio de transporte. Ella es muy popular y a cada rato hace una parada y saluda a alguien). El colombiano Eduardo Pérez, el Crudo, ( nada tiene que ver con la cruda mejicana) Eduardo es muy particular acerca de lo que ingiere y siempre nos da charlas muy instructivas de la manera adecuada de alimentarnos sin cocinar. Y por supuesto, Enrique El Borracho, titulo etílico del cual mucho se ufana... Siempre hay algún borracho en la familia y siempre se echan de menos.

De quienes recuerdo ahora pero que se encuetra en la foto imaginaria.. Gladys Lisman, argentina de nacimiento, pero su nacionalidad es de cuentacuentos insigne, Reina Madre de Bal Harbor, quien se mantiene en contacto con nosotros mediante electrodos, ondas mentales y otras artimañas que usan las monarcas de este siglo…

En el evento me salieron alas cuando vi que nuestros artistas latinoamericanos pueden expresar tanto y cuanto de la mejor cepa.

A Gala Kavachnina, mi galerista, le salieron también alas pero con plumas de muchos y variados colores y es que eso le pasa a las pájaras cuando pueden volar alto. Gala tenía un booth enorme en la entrada de Arteamericas 2009 y frente a la primera entrada. Ahora su galería en el Designe District cambió de nombre. Se llama Lurie- Kavachnina Gallery y tiene más espacio, más actividades y sobre todo más arte contemporáneo, post- modern, experimental, con nuevas y arriesgadas técnicas, en grandes formatos y dándole preferencia a lo figurativo… Bravo!!!. Los curadores están haciendo un excelente trabajo. Allí nos vamos a llegar la pandilla completa. El link de la galería es:

En Arteamericas 2009 , Una linda y graciosa venezolana me amenazó con mostrarme sus pies y lo hizo. ¡Vaya sorpresa! La fémina era un auténtico híbrido, mezcla de mujer y anfibio plástico... en vez de patas tiene chapaletas... Me hizo acordar el poema de : “ Uno, dos y tres. Los deditos de tus manos, los deditos de tus pies…”
